In 2011, the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan was established, the main objective of which is to unite all service companies of the oil and gas and mining industries of Kazakhstan into a single Union.
The Union proposes to jointly represent the interests of its members in the regions of the country where the core business is conducted, as well as to actively and fruitfully interact with government agencies, which will improve the efficiency of the service business in general, and individual service companies in particular.
The Union cooperates with government agencies represented by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna Contract, the National Agency for Local Content Development "NADLoC" and the Kazakhstan Contract Agency.
